Statiko is now an MCP connector
Paste one URL into Claude or ChatGPT, sign in with your Statiko account, and your assistant can read Telegram trends, channels, posts and metrics — with a statiko.io link behind every answer.

Statiko has always answered the question "what is this channel doing?" — as long as you came to Statiko to ask it. Now you can ask from wherever you already work.
The MCP connector puts live Telegram data inside Claude and ChatGPT. One URL, one OAuth sign-in, no API key and nothing to install.
Included in Pro and Business.
TL;DR
- One custom-connector URL —
https://mcp.statiko.io/mcp— for Claude, ChatGPT and any other MCP client - OAuth sign-in with your regular Statiko account; no keys to manage
- Ten read-only tools: trending topics and the posts behind them, channel profiles, metrics, timelines, post history and lookalikes
- Every object comes back with its statiko.io permalink, so you can open the page the model read
- Public channels only — the connector reaches exactly what the catalog already tracks
What you can ask
The point isn't a tool list, it's the questions you stop having to break into steps yourself:
- What's trending in RU Telegram?
- Compare @channel_a and @channel_b — who actually has an audience?
- Is this channel's growth organic?
- Pull this channel's last week of posts and find the outlier by forwards.
- Which channels offer ad placements in the art category?
- Get this channel's most notable edits.
The model picks the tools. You get an answer with links.
Setting it up
Go to Claude web app.
1
Claude · settings
Open Settings → Connectors
The Connectors tab lists everything Claude can reach. Open the Add menu in the top right and pick Add custom connector.

Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector
2
Claude · url
Name it and paste the URL
Call it statiko — that name is what you'll reference in prompts — and paste https://mcp.statiko.io/mcp as the remote MCP address. Continue.

The name is yours to choose; the URL is not
3
Claude · auth
Leave the detected auth settings alone
Claude reads the server's metadata and fills this page in for you: Always required authentication and No client ID — register one automatically, both marked Detected. Leave the request headers empty and press Add.
There is no API key. If you switch authentication to None, every tool call comes back 401.

Both options are auto-detected — nothing to change
4
Claude · connect
Press Connect
The connector now exists but isn't authorized, so Claude has nothing to list yet. Connect starts the sign-in.

Added, but not yet authorized
5
Claude · oauth
Sign in with your Statiko account
Claude sends you to statiko.io. The consent screen spells out what it is granting — read access to trending topics, channels, posts and their stats, and a session that survives so you don't sign in every conversation. Allow.

Read-only, and only the scopes listed
6
Claude · tools
Set the tools to Always allow
Ten read-only tools appear. Because none of them writes anything, Always allow on the whole group is the setting you want — otherwise Claude stops to ask permission in the middle of every answer.

Ten read-only tools, one permission decision
7
Claude · verify
Ask something
Start a new conversation and ask this question. Claude should show that it used the statiko integration before it answers — that line is your confirmation the connector is live.

"Loaded tools, used statiko integration" — you're connected
The ChatGPT connector configuration will come shortly
If it doesn't work the first time
The connector was added but never authorized. Reopen it, press Connect and finish the Statiko sign-in — tools only enumerate after the OAuth grant.
The account you signed in with belongs to a free tier account. Upgrade account then relogin.
Authentication is set to None. Edit the connector, set it back to OAuth — "Always required" in Claude — and reconnect.
Developer mode is off. Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings, enable it, then reload the settings page.
Ask for them: "cite the statiko.io pages you used". Every object the connector returns carries its permalink.
Only channels in the Statiko catalog are reachable. Add it in the app first — tracking starts immediately — then ask again.
Still stuck? Send us the assistant you're using and the exact error text and we'll look at the OAuth log — open an issue or contact us.
